The outdoor show (held in the comfortable, newly renovated Twin Lakes Plaza) was very well-attended even though the weather outside was windy, wet, and cold! Spring Gardening Fever has arrived in spite of the weather!

Hundreds of experienced and beginning gardeners stopped by to browse the seed racks, check out the many varieties of non-hybrid pepper and tomato plants and just “garden talk” with Kathy, Linda, and Deb! Catalogs, planting guides, and brochures were available. Bobbie Brouchard’s name was drawn for the door prize—the book, Gardening Basics, gardening gloves and a wooden garden tote.

All funds from the show go to support the BIG SEED PROJECT, a “growing” program of the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas, promoting self-reliance and food sustainability.
